As a vital member of our team, you will greet, guide, and inform our patients and their families, ensuring they have seamless access to our primary healthcare services. Whether you're providing vital wayfinding within our facility or assisting in disaster recovery, your impact will resonate far beyond the confines of traditional service hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assist patients experiencing barriers to accessing healthcare, emphasizing support for newcomers to Legacy systems.
- Welcome and guide patients, families, and visitors with a positive attitude, enhancing their overall facility experience.
- Provide accurate information and directions, ensuring efficient facility navigation and support.
- Offer wayfinding assistance to patients, leveraging available resources for effective help.
- Support the assigned patient care area, ensuring seamless patient assistance and visitor support.
- Adhere to Legacy Community Health Corps standards by proudly wearing the AmeriCorps logo daily.
- Participate in community service and disaster recovery efforts, potentially involving both virtual and in-person engagements beyond standard service hours.
- Collaborate with community partners to align service opportunities with program objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a desire to improve community healthcare access.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
- Commitment to representing the AmeriCorps ethos and values in all interactions.
