Ultrasound Technologist - Job Overview
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8AM-4:30PM)
Join our dynamic team at Legacy Community Health as an Ultrasound Technologist, where innovation meets healthcare excellence. As an OB Ultrasound Tech, you'll pioneer the use of cutting-edge ultrasound technology to generate echo-mapped visualizations of internal organs, collaborating with OB providers to determine gestational age and developmental milestones.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret captured ultrasound images for diagnostic purposes.
- Ensure image clarity and make necessary equipment adjustments.
- Guide patients through the ultrasound process ensuring comfort and understanding.
- Maintain expertise in human anatomy and related scanning techniques.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists to optimize scan protocols.
- Perform regular maintenance and cleanliness of ultrasound equipment.
- Participate in quality assurance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Uphold Legacy's mission and cultural diversity objectives in all interactions.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and safety training.
- Implement safety measures and handle equipment according to protocol.
- Commit to privacy and security standards as per HIPAA guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent in a related field.
- BLS/CPR certification is mandatory.
- Completion of an accredited sonography program meeting ARDMS eligibility.
- ARDMS certification in good standing, with ongoing education compliance.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in obstetric/fetal ultrasound.
- Proficient in collaborative team environments.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
- Strong organizational and computer skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
