Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough assessments and provide top-notch treatment for patients in your assigned clinic(s).
  • Stick to your awesome schedule and actively see patients, ensuring all-time availability during clinic hours.
  • Meet or exceed productivity goals set by our fab Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director of Behavioral Health.
  • Contribute your brilliance by developing and maintaining clinical diagnostic and treatment protocols.
  • Be a phone-call hero during clinic hours, and be ready for duty even beyond those hours as needed.
  • Get creative and assist in developing patient education materials before they make their way to patients.
  • Show off your leadership skills by supervising healthcare students with flair!
  • Keep the quality high with an established clinical quality assurance program.
  • Engage in smooth care coordination with non-physician providers to ensure top-notch psychiatric treatment.
  • Make connections through consulting with colleagues, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in meetings and get involved in our Performance Improvement Program and peer reviews.
  • Tackle other exciting challenges and duties that come your way!

Minimum Qualifications

  • You're a Medical Doctor with a Board certification (or on the way!) in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, rocking a current Texas License.
  • You're a proud upholder of your professional licensing entity's Code of Ethics.
  • Continuing education? You've got it covered to keep your professional license in check!
  • Maintain a fab standing with your professional licensing board – you're a shining star!
  • Credentialed and privileged according to Legacy's top standards and practices.
  • You're in tune with Medicare, Medicaid, and other reimbursement programs—you're on top of it!
  • You shine with cultural competency and sensitivity to serve diverse populations.
