Bilingual Front Desk Clerk - Lead (Job Overview)
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM)

Key Responsibilities
- Answer and route incoming calls with professionalism and care.
- Perform client intake and notify appropriate staff of arrivals.
- Accurately enter patient information into databases.
- Follow appointment and cash handling procedures.
- Complete opening and closing procedures, and prepare daily deposits.
- Maintain a tidy and orderly clinic lobby.
- Participate in the Performance Improvement Program.
- Assist with staff training and development for a great patient experience.
- Monitor patient flow and communicate necessary staffing adjustments.
- Handle escalated customer service issues to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Support special projects and initiatives.
- Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Facilitate communication between patients and providers regarding delays or issues.
- Review provider schedules for potential errors or discrepancies.
- Monitor office supply levels and manage orders as needed.
- Promote a professional, courteous environment for all.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet departmental goals.
- Apply a team-based approach within the primary care medical home context.
- Attend required safety training programs.
- Operate equipment safely and maintain work area standards.
- Report safety concerns promptly.
- Follow Legacy’s exposure control plans and safety protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Pleasant, professional, and articulate phone voice.
- Ability to multi-task and handle many incoming calls or patients at once.
- Efficient and accurate data-entry skills.
- Computer literacy and multi-line phone or switchboard experience.
- If no experience, the prospective receptionist must be able to learn it quickly.
- Basic knowledge such as basic math, alphabetical or numerical filing may also be required.
- Must be able to manage multiple deadline and decision making responsibilities.
