Manager - Community Relations (Job Overview)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | Weekends As Needed | Hybrid

As a Community Relations Manager, you'll be at the heart of our efforts to build meaningful relationships with community partners and drive new patient acquisition and retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, solicit, and motivate prospects for new patient acquisition in assigned regions.
  • Provide territory insights to assist in strategic development and growth initiatives.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies for target markets and service lines.
  • Expand Legacy's reach by managing external activities in new markets.
  • Create an annual outreach strategy aligned with clinic goals.
  • Build and nurture relationships with community partners and key stakeholders.
  • Manage professional relationships to enhance Legacy's service positioning.
  • Implement referral programming and manage external provider relations.
  • Utilize account management software to organize outreach efforts.
  • Design and execute onsite events to attract new clients.
  • Represent Legacy publicly and recruit new patients at local events.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Three years' experience in account management in a professional setting.
  • Ability to work weekend and evening hours, as needed.
  • Experience in health care industry, account management, business development and/or marketing.
  • High level of understanding of health care industry and health insurance environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to track progress of job tasks, responsibilities, and goals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Willingness to learn new software.
  • Strong written, verbal and oral communication skills.
  • Social networking experience preferred.
  • Fluent in English/Spanish preferred.
