Schedule: Rotating Schedule: Monday (12-4PM or 4-8PM) | Friday (8AM-4PM or 8AM-8PM) | Sundays (12-6PM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive assessments and treatments for pediatric patients in a clinical setting.
  • Maintain flexible hours, including extended coverage during evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Meet or exceed productivity goals established by the Chief Medical Officer.
  • Develop and implement clinical diagnostic and treatment protocols for pediatric care.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff by being available via phone during regular hours.
  • Assist in creating and reviewing patient education materials to promote health literacy.
  • Supervise and mentor healthcare students, Licensed Therapists, Certified Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants in pediatric care.
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, committees, and the Performance Improvement Program.
  • Provide health education to patients, including preventative care and family planning in compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance programs for clinical care excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the clinic’s mission and operations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Medical Doctorate with current licensure.
  • Board certified or Board eligible in Pediatrics.
  • Provider shall obtain, maintain and participate in the Medicare and Medicaid Programs, workers’ compensation, other federal and state reimbursement programs, and the payment plan of any commercial insurer, health maintenance organization, preferred provider organization, accountable health plan, and other health benefit program requested by Legacy.
  • Possess an interest in working with adolescents
  • Uphold the Code of Ethics of their professional licensing entity.
  • Must complete the minimum hours of continuing education to maintain professional license.
  • Must maintain good standing with professional licensing board.
  • Must demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity to all populations served.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, community, and the general public.
  • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation,
  • Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions.
  • Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize
  • Adept in decision making responsibilities
  • Bilingual English/Spanish speaking preferred
