This position is key to ensuring the seamless execution of our pharmacy's operations. By spearheading creative solutions and strategies, you'll help us deliver timely and effective pharmacy services, driving our mission to provide exceptional community healthcare.

This role not only supports operational excellence but is also instrumental in enhancing customer satisfaction and positive patient outcomes.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations and manage the Pharmacy Technician workflow to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Schedule and maintain appropriate staffing levels within your area of responsibility.
- Conduct interviews and select candidates aligned with departmental standards.
- Counsel and provide feedback to staff, initiating disciplinary actions when necessary in line with Human Resources standards.
- Create individual development plans and follow up bi-annually to foster team growth.
- Conduct data collection and audits to uphold regulatory standards and enhance quality improvement measures.
- Oversee the implementation of projects and training programs to enhance staff development.
- Ensure new staff completes the orientation process as dictated by our organization and department protocols.
- Investigate and address individual and patient complaints, serving as a liaison between providers, clients, and ancillary departments.
- Participate in the hiring decision-making process by collaborating with other departments.
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the broader organizational goals.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is essential.
- Current certification with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
- Must be registered with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
- Ability to pass a math test relevant to retail pharmacy activities.
- Maintain all necessary certifications required for this position.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the healthcare sector.
- At least seven (7) years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
