Clinic Based Therapist (LBR) - Job Overview
Schedule: Monday-Friday | Hybrid

As a Therapist in our Behavioral Health department, you'll provide high-quality psychotherapy to clients with identified behavioral health needs. Your role is pivotal in ensuring our clients receive compassionate and effective care.

Key Responsibilities
- Screen new clients to identify presenting problems and address urgent issues.
- Administer psychosocial assessments with care and precision.
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy to clients of all ages.
- Collaborate with clients, physicians, and other providers to develop client-centered interventions.
- Re-assess clients and update treatment plans as needed.
- Work a full-time flexible schedule, including evenings and some weekends.
- Meet with a clinical supervisor monthly to review client cases.
- Document all client encounters and activities within three working days.
- Perform billing activities following agency procedures.
- Participate in required meetings and training sessions.
- Advise patients on health and illness prevention, including family planning services.
- Stay informed about the latest therapeutic techniques and research.
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to team success.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have a master's degree from an accredited college or university in the social or behavioral sciences.
- Must have a current Texas license (LCSW, LPC and/or LMFT) and be in good standing with their credentialing board.
- Must maintain first aid / CPR certifications.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years paid work experience providing psychotherapy.
- A therapist who has a Ph.D. in his/her specialty will be honored the CME/CEU stipend amount equivalent to the doctorate level, per policy.
- Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
