About the Position
The Licensed Vocational Nurse at Legacy Community Health will be responsible for assisting the provider with patient care. This will include checking vital signs, giving injections, and providing medication under doctor supervision. As the LVN, you will also assist the providers with client follow-up care, IM injections, and future clinic visits.
Our ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience administering vaccines (scheduled and catch-up vaccines) to Pediatric population and is bilingual in Spanish.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain needed client information, including vital signs, and room all clinic clients
- Administer drug treatment and perform medical procedures, including phlebotomy and other diagnostic medical tests, according to standard protocols
- Document all client care as appropriate in a timely manner

Requirements
- Current license from the State of Texas Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- CPR Certified
- 1 year of clinical experience
- Previous experience as an LVN or LPN in a community health setting preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) required
