Key Responsibilities
- Manage urgent and emergency calls with a strategic focus on best practice guidelines for optimal care.
- Leverage innovative telephone triage strategies to accurately direct patients to appropriate care levels and professionals.
- Collaborate with an agile clinical team to prioritize and address immediate patient care needs.
- Accurately gather and document critical patient information, facilitating informed provider decision-making.
- Deliver nursing advice and patient education using state-of-the-art protocols and tools.
- Assist in seamless care coordination while ensuring patient privacy and documentation precision.
- Champion professional collaboration, advocating for an integrated team approach.
- Maintain efficient call handling with a focus on professionalism and cultural competence.
- Ensure unbiased care delivery, respecting cultural diversity and cost-effectiveness in treatment approaches.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Registered Nursing program with active Texas RN licensure.
- CPR certification, demonstrating readiness for emergency scenarios.
- Minimum of three years of practical RN experience, with a preference for family medicine expertise.
- Previous nursing triage experience is a significant advantage.
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- Spanish language fluency strongly preferred to support our diverse community commitment.
