IT Application Trainer I - Job Overview
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM) | Hybrid

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging training sessions onsite, virtually, and in clinical practice areas for end-users, both clinical and non-clinical.
- Design customized learning curricula that cater to specific end-user needs.
- Develop, evaluate, and refine training programs to ensure they align with organizational goals and improve user proficiency.
- Coordinate and schedule end-user training plans to ensure smooth adoption of clinical software applications.
- Mentor Trainers and Super Users, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
- Assess user technology competency and provide scenario-based training for real-world application.
- Collaborate with vendors, project leaders, and enterprise teams to ensure training programs meet system requirements.
- Escalate complex issues appropriately while promoting teamwork and shared values.
- Participate in strategic planning and solution implementation to enhance organizational success.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies within clinical informatics.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or IT disciplines, or in lieu of education, four (4) or more years’ experience in healthcare operations and/or clinical IT roles
- At least 3 years of experience conducting clinical applications analysis, analysis of clinical workflows system adoption strategies, and training and educating adult learners
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent and five years related experience
- SuperUser or Trainer for Epic Ambulatory and/or Resolute/PB
- At least 3 years of clinical, healthcare operations, or clinical IT experience
- Previous experience in Clinical Software Implementations and/or Training
- Ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks.
- Knowledge and Understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Demonstrate ability to promote and maintain good interpersonal relationships.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrate effective problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills
- Demonstrate strong organizational, presentation and customer service skills
- Ability to manage a wide range of projects, large and small, along with a high volume of service requests.
- Ability to prepare a presentation and present to an audience comprised of varying levels of leadership.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communications and follow-up skills, and strong interpersonal relationship skills
- Project management experience
- Knowledge and experience in implementing and supporting healthcare applications
- Clinical informatics experience
- Experience with documenting workflows utilizing Microsoft Visio
- Experience working with hardware (desktop PCs, thin clients, printers)
