Pediatric Medical Assistant - Leading Community Health Initiatives

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient interviews to gather medical histories and measure vital signs, including height and weight, ensuring accurate medical records maintenance.
- Skillfully collect, log, and prepare blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens for testing, adhering to our commitment to meticulous healthcare.
- Support physicians in examining and treating patients by skillfully handling instruments and materials, administering injections, and removing sutures.
- Maintain impeccable treatment rooms, ensuring each space is prepared, organized, and cleaned to enhance patient care and experience.
- Expertly clean and sterilize medical instruments, guaranteeing that all equipment meets the highest health and safety standards.
- Conduct insightful phone consultations with clients, discussing test results and addressing health concerns with clarity and compassion.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Medical Assistant or certificate of Medical Assistant is essential for this role.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required to ensure readiness for patient care.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred to enhance communication within our diverse community.
