Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial screenings to identify client needs, address urgent concerns, and provide timely referrals.
- Administer comprehensive psychosocial assessments to inform treatment planning.
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy to clients of all ages experiencing biopsychosocial challenges.
- Collaborate with clients, physicians, and other providers to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Regularly reassess clients and update treatment plans to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
- Meet with a clinical supervisor at least monthly to discuss and review client cases.
- Document all client interactions in the medical record system within three working days.
- Perform billing activities in accordance with agency procedures and guidelines.
- Participate in required meetings and training sessions to stay informed and connected.
- Provide guidance and education to patients on health, wellness, and illness prevention, including family planning services.
- Stay current on advancements in therapeutic techniques, theories, and research to enhance your practice.
- Take on other duties as assigned to support the team and organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have a master’s degree from an accredited college or university in the social or behavioral sciences.
- Must have a current Texas license (LCSW, LPC and/or LMFT) and be in good standing with their credentialing board.
- Must maintain first aid/CPR certifications.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years paid work experience providing psychotherapy.
- Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize.
