Operations Manager - Fifth Ward (Job Overview)
Schedule: Monday-Friday (7:30AM-4:30PM or 8:30AM-5:30PM)

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise support staff and ensure adherence to department policies.
- Manage work schedules, PTO, and unpaid leave for support staff.
- Provide EPIC support and ongoing training as an EHRS super-user.
- Promote feedback and collaboration to enhance services.
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, and evaluating staff members.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching/disciplinary actions.
- Track key performance indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and maintain service line reports.
- Coordinate patient access management and streamline scheduling workflows.
- Monitor provider schedules for efficiency across sites.
- Provide feedback on workflows and support performance improvement projects.
- Manage locum and per diem provider coverage in collaboration with leadership.
- Address patient complaints and monitor operational metrics.
- Participate in monthly leadership meetings and present strategic plans.
- Establish relationships with community partners and collaborators.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Oversee departmental orders, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
- Participate in the Performance Improvement Program.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Certifications/licenses as applicable to their area of responsibility
- Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare setting, or service industry.
- Two (2) years of experience in administration and supervision of staff preferred.
- Demonstrated competency with an EHRS system.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and decision-making responsibilities.
- Above average organizational skills and computer skills.
- This job requires access to confidential and sensitive information, requiring ongoing discretion and secure information management
- (English/Spanish) fluency is preferred.
