Key Responsibilities
- Revolutionize the review and processing of all diagnostic, specialty, and miscellaneous referral requests.
- Utilize advanced data-driven techniques to obtain patient insurance verification and authorizations.
- Engage in transformative phone consultations with clients to update them on referral statuses.
- Streamline and manage prior authorization requests using state-of-the-art systems like Centricity EHRS.
- Foster breakthrough relationships with providers and referral sources for seamless care coordination.
- Ensure compliance with Patient Centered Medical Home regulations and HIPAA Guidelines using innovative solutions.
- Implement creative strategies to motivate and encourage patients to complete essential imaging services and preventative screenings.
- Utilize digital platforms for appointment setting and confirmations to optimize patient engagement and experience.
- Participate in our Performance Improvement Program, driving innovation in the coordination of care.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, with a passion for continuous learning and development.
- One year certificate from college or a technical school; or equivalent experience in medical assistance, referral coordination, or insurance verification.
- Proficiency in cutting-edge digital tools, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on digital transformation and data-driven strategies.
- Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal, to pioneer effective patient and provider interactions.
