Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient counseling to support safe and effective medication use
- Perform detailed drug utilization reviews to avert potential drug-drug and drug-disease interactions
- Identify and address duplicative therapies, enhancing treatment protocols
- Improve medication adherence across diverse patient ages and needs
Qualifications
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university of pharmacy
- Certification in immunization delivery
- Valid pharmacist intern license from the Board of Pharmacy of the State of Texas
- Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate
