Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient counseling to support safe and effective medication use.
- Perform detailed drug utilization reviews to avert potential drug-drug and drug-disease interactions.
- Identify and address duplicative therapies, enhancing treatment protocols.
- Improve medication adherence across diverse patient ages and needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university of pharmacy.
- Certification in immunization delivery.
- Valid pharmacist intern license from the Board of Pharmacy of the State of Texas.
- Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate.
