Per Diem - Endocrinologist (Job Overview)

Schedule: 8AM-5PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a cutting-edge practice by keeping regularly scheduled hours based on the Service Agreement.
  • Collaborate with medical schools and residency programs to advance clinical education and research.
  • Develop and implement innovative methods for quality assessment of clinical services.
  • Provide agile support for clinical care during regular and after-hours operations.
  • Supervise and mentor healthcare students, fostering a learning environment focused on digital transformation.
  • Participate in future clinical operations planning with an emphasis on interdisciplinary team-oriented care.
  • Drive the evolution of clinical quality assurance programs and diagnostic protocols.
  • Lead recruitment and retention efforts for a diverse and inclusive clinical team.
  • Engage in research by contributing to data analysis and publication of findings.
  • Promote patient education and preventive health services, leveraging digital tools for enhanced outreach.
  • Implement data-driven approaches to improve performance and patient outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Board certified/eligible in Endocrinology with a vision for technological integration in healthcare.
  • Medical Doctor with current licensure and a commitment to continuous learning and digital fluency.
  • Participation in Medicare, Medicaid, and other health benefit programs.
  • BLS (CPR & AED) Certified with a strong grasp of emergent digital health solutions.
  • Minimum of 2 years (including fellowship training) with a preference for progressive endocrinology experience.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred to enhance communication in diverse settings.
  • Proficient in managing multiple priorities with tech-driven solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise with EMR systems and a penchant for digital disruption in healthcare.
  • Superior communication and customer service skills tailored for a fast-paced, tech-oriented environment.
  • Exemplary organizational skills, adept at handling confidential and sensitive information.
