Radiology Technologist - Float (Job Overview)

Key Responsibilities
- Perform innovative general radiology studies as requested by medical providers, utilizing state-of-the-art imaging technologies.
- Ensure radiology equipment operates at peak performance, promptly addressing any technical issues to maintain high standards.
- Actively participate in ongoing education to meet and exceed licensure requirements, embracing new technologies and methodologies.
- Contribute creatively to a team culture that prioritizes patient safety and care excellence.
- Adapt to varied tasks as assigned, embodying an agile and responsive work ethic.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited diagnostic imaging program, equipped with knowledge in cutting-edge radiology techniques.
- Medical Radiologic Technologist General Certification from the Texas Medical Board.
- Radiography ARRT- R.T. (R-ARRT) certification, validating expertise in advanced imaging technologies.
- Certification in Basic Life Support / First Aid / CPR.
- Proven experience with general office equipment and Digital Radiography (DR) systems, with a future-forward mindset.
- Two years of prior diagnostic imaging experience preferred, showcasing a commitment to excellence.
- Bilingual skills preferred, enhancing communication within diverse patient communities.
