Grants Accountant I - Job Overview
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM)

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative grant spenddown strategies while advising program counterparts on optimal financial practices
- Exercise independent judgment to lead detailed grant management functions
- Utilize data analytics to ensure compliance and eligibility monitoring of grant expenditures
- Prepare and present grant financial reports leveraging advanced technologies
- Submit data-driven expense reimbursement reports to a diverse array of funding sources
- Maintain open channels of communication with grant funding personnel to foster collaboration
- Review and optimize grant staff allocations to maximize efficiency
- Support grant accounting personnel with technology-enhanced accounting and clerical tasks
- Maintain digital accounting records, ensuring precision and confidentiality
- Assist in the development of innovative approaches to funding-source and external audits
- Contribute to agile month-end financial close processes, including journal entries and revenue projections
- Promote digital transformation in department operations and encourage collaborative teamwork
- Safeguard patient and company information through advanced cybersecurity practices
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 0-2 years of experience in accounting and/or bookkeeping
- Preferred experience with grants and billing systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, focusing on Excel's advanced functionalities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in an agile, fast-paced environment
