Job Schedule: Rotating Schedule including 12 Hour Shifts and Weekends

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient interviews to obtain essential medical information and measure vital signs, weight, and height.
  • Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, and test results within our state-of-the-art medical records system.
  • Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, ensuring precise logging and documentation.
  • Assist physicians by providing necessary instruments and materials, including performing tasks such as injections and suture removal.
  • Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms before examinations, restocking as necessary.
  • Perform diagnostic tests including phlebotomy, while ensuring the accurate documentation of patient care.
  • Administer various medications as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Maintain exam room supplies, managing inventory against expiry dates and biohazard protocols.
  • Engage with patient consultation concerning test results and health concerns.
  • Participate in safety programs aligning with OSHA compliance, promoting workplace safety and hygiene.
  • Collaborate in the ongoing Performance Improvement Program to enhance service delivery.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is a must.
  • BLS/CPR Certification required, ensuring vital life-saving skills.
  • Up to one year of relevant experience in a supportive healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication and customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency in basic front desk, clerical, or healthcare support specialist skills.
  • Capacity to thrive under pressure, multitasking efficiently within a collaborative team.
  • Commitment to preventive health care concepts and a team-based approach to healthcare delivery.
  • Basic computer literacy, with experience in Microsoft Office applications preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required, enabling effective patient communication.
  • Experience with electronic medical records is highly advantageous.
