Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient counseling to support safe and effective medication use
  • Perform detailed drug utilization reviews to avert potential drug-drug and drug-disease interactions
  • Identify and address duplicative therapies, enhancing treatment protocols
  • Improve medication adherence across diverse patient ages and needs

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in an accredited college or university of pharmacy
  • Certification in immunization delivery
  • Valid pharmacist intern license from the Board of Pharmacy of the State of Texas
  • Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate
