Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and work your magic by routing them to the correct destination.
  • Roll out the welcome mat for our clients and manage intake like a pro.
  • Be a data-entry dynamo, ensuring all patient information is accurately logged.
  • Team up with the volunteer coordinator to keep our volunteer squad running smoothly.
  • Follow appointment procedures and manage them with finesse.
  • Handle payments with precision, following cash handling protocols to a T.
  • Ensure the clinic lobby stays as tidy as a pin and welcoming for everyone.
  • Assist in processing lab results bestowed by the Practice Manager.
  • Be a changemaker by participating in our Performance Improvement Program.
  • Nurture a respectful and courteous atmosphere for all patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Join forces with your team to achieve department goals and foster effective working relations.
  • Thrive within the context of a primary care medical home.
  • Attend all necessary safety training programs to keep the clinic safe and sound.
  • Ensure workspace and equipment meet Legacy’s high standards.
  • Master Legacy's exposure control plans to keep everyone safer from pathogens.
  • Keep versatility at your sleeve, ready to take on other duties as they pop up!

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent—a solid foundation to kickstart your journey!
  • Possess a pleasant, professional, and articulate phone voice; your tone is everything!
  • Excel in juggling multiple tasks and managing a symphony of incoming calls or patients.
  • Show off those efficient and accurate data-entry skills—precision is key!
  • Be a wiz in computer literacy, and experience with multi-line phones or switchboards is a plus.
  • Have basic knowledge in math and filing—keeping things in order is your forte!
  • Demonstrate stellar decision-making abilities under crunch time.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish? That's a preferred skill!
