Pharmacy Inventory Technician - Job Overview
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8AM-6:30PM) and Saturday (8AM-4:30PM)

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison to each pharmacy location to ensure timely and accurate delivery of inventory items
- Review and assist with product changes within the pharmacy system for accurate charging/dispensing under the 340B drug-pricing program
- Follow up on back-orders, drug recalls, and problem orders as per policy
- Support the annual physical inventory of all pharmaceuticals, including controlled substances
- Conduct routine audits to maintain appropriate stock levels and recommend changes to par levels and product selection
- Assist in the removal and disposal of expired medications in coordination with the expired drugs vendor
- Manage new medication additions, including stock location assignments and label printing
- Assist in receiving patient assistance program (PAP) medications
- Support the receipt, filling, and reassignment of medications from the Texas HIV Medication Program (THMP)
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED with at least one year of related experience
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certificate
- Registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
- Maintain BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum of 5 years of pharmacy experience, with a preference for inventory management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical skills and understanding of the 340B pricing program practices
- Experience with computer hardware and software applications is highly preferred
