Per Diem Dentist - Pediatrics (Job Overview)
Schedule: Per Diem | On Call | Minimum of 2 Shifts Per Month

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver quality dental care to all patients, upholding the highest standards of practice, ethics, and professionalism.
- Work in collaboration with the Director of Dental Services to establish and refine dental policies and quality improvement procedures.
- Evaluate current practices and recommend enhancements to improve patient flow, dental records, billing, and appointment practices.
- Supervise, direct, train, and educate dental ancillary staff to ensure clear understanding of policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Provide emergency call coverage as scheduled, adhering to established protocols and standard practices.
- Participate actively in community health events, including school screenings, health fairs, and other social and community activities.
- Engage in the Performance Improvement Program to consistently enhance service quality.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the dental department's goals.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited dental school.
- Must have a Texas dental license.
- Professional clinical dental experience in practicing dentistry.
- Authoritative knowledge of the practice and techniques of dentistry as a general practitioner in a community health center is highly desirable.
- Must be able to manage multiple deadline and decision making responsibilities.
- Knowledge of Spanish is preferred.
