Pharmacy Technician - Per Diem (Job Overview)
Schedule: Monday-Friday (7:30AM-8PM) | Saturday (7:30AM-5:30PM) | Must Be Available 4 Days Per Month | Minimum Of 1 Shift Every Two Weeks

Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in streamlining medication preparation and dispensing processes using state-of-the-art systems and protocols.
- Ensure the accuracy of medication dosages by harnessing data-driven patient information management.
- Maintain and optimize medication stock with precision and safety, utilizing cutting-edge inventory technology.
- Implement agile methodologies to re-prioritize tasks based on workload dynamics.
- Facilitate timely insurance adjudication and pre-authorizations, leveraging digital solutions.
- Oversee rigorous compliance with Daily and Monthly Activity checklists, including critical safety checks and inspections.
- Ensure exceptional patient counseling opportunities and documentation, maximizing patient satisfaction and adherence.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance entities through seamless digital communication channels.
- Lead education initiatives for new and existing pharmacy personnel, integrating innovative training techniques.
- Deliver exemplary customer service at the intersection of technology and patient care.
- Safeguard patient confidentiality with cutting-edge security measures and protocols.
- Support the Pharmacy Operations Manager in optimizing the 340b program inventory through digital integrity checks.
- Perform dynamic reporting and tracking to enhance medication adherence and service delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is essential; a graduate from an accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program is required.
- Certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) is mandatory.
- Current registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy is necessary.
- Proficiency in mathematical operations pertinent to retail pharmacy activities.
- Current BLS/CPR certification is vital.
- Preferred: Two years of prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Experience in community pharmacy and pharmacy logistics is advantageous.
- Exemplary communication and customer service skills, essential for engaging with staff and the community.
- Proficient in managing multiple deadlines in a high-paced, tech-enabled environment.
- Advanced computer skills, with a focus on Windows, Excel, and accounting software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are critical.
- Project management acumen, with a focus on 340b regulations and inventory management.
- Bilingual skills are preferred, enhancing communication in diverse settings.
