Key Responsibilities
- Greet new clients with empathy, identify their immediate needs, and provide urgent referrals if necessary.
- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand client needs deeply.
- Offer individual, couples, and family therapy to those experiencing various biopsychosocial stressors.
- Collaborate with clients, physicians, and other providers to craft and execute client-centered treatment plans.
- Regularly reassess clients and update treatment plans to ensure ongoing relevance and effectiveness.
- Engage in monthly meetings with a clinical supervisor to review client progress and strategies.
- Accurately document all client interactions in the medical record within three working days.
- Perform billing activities in accordance with agency procedures.
- Participate in all required meetings to stay informed and integrated with the team.
- Keep abreast of the latest therapeutic techniques, theories, and research to enhance your practice.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have a master's degree from an accredited college or university in the social or behavioral sciences.
- Must have a current Texas license (LCSW, LPC and/or LMFT) and be in good standing with their credentialing board.
- Must maintain first aid/CPR certifications.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years paid work experience providing psychotherapy therapy.
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish REQUIRED to enhance client communication.
