Clinic Operations Manager - Sharpstown (Job Overview)
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8a-5p) | 1 Weekend/mo on Call

- Provide operational support for assigned areas of responsibility, focusing on enhancing patient access and streamlining workflows.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of support staff, ensuring adherence to department policies and Legacy's attendance guidelines.
- Manage all aspects of work schedules for support staff, including PTO and leave management.
- Provide direct coverage and EPIC support, becoming an EHRS super-user to train staff effectively.
- Foster a culture of feedback and collaboration to enhance service delivery.
- Engage in the recruitment and evaluation process for prospective staff members.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Track and analyze performance indicators to identify trends and improve clinic operations.
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence to develop service line reports.
- Address patient access issues and streamline scheduling workflows.
- Monitor provider schedules for efficiency and manage locum and per diem provider coverage.
- Handle patient complaints and operational metrics across locations.
- Participate in leadership meetings and present strategic plans for clinic advancement.
- Establish community partnerships and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Oversee departmental orders, stock supplies, and equipment maintenance.
- Engage in the Performance Improvement Program to enhance service line quality.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certifications/licenses as applicable to their area of responsibility.
- Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare setting or service industry.
- Two (2) years of experience in administration and supervision of staff preferred.
- Demonstrated competency with an EHRS system.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and decision-making responsibilities. Above average organizational skills and computer skills.
- Job requires access to confidential and sensitive information, requiring ongoing discretion and secure information management.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency is preferred.
