Key Responsibilities
- Disrupt traditional eligibility assessments by conducting agile and precise client eligibility evaluations for various programs.
- Ensure clients do not have alternative payer sources, leveraging tech-driven solutions to streamline processes.
- Register clients into the CPCDMS, utilizing state-of-the-art data management systems.
- Perform data entry of eligible clients into electronic systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date and orderly eligibility files, innovating document management practices.
- Conduct renewal eligibility assessments as required by each program, adopting continuous improvement methodologies.
- Confirm eligibility appointments and set initial service schedules using advanced digital tools.
- Empower clients with comprehensive lists of required eligibility documentation.
- Participate in the Performance Improvement Program to drive forward-thinking service enhancements.
- Champion respect and inclusion for all patients, families, and team members.
- Promote effective collaboration as part of an agile, tech-forward team.
- Attend all requisite safety and education programs, endorsing a culture of continuous learning.
- Safely operate advanced office equipment and maintain work areas to Legacy's innovative standards.
- Follow Legacy’s exposure control plans, ensuring health and safety preeminence.
- Flexibility to travel to other sites for training or coverage, embracing a dynamic work environment.
- Engage in other responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the holistic mission of Legacy Community Health.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, with an inclination towards tech-savvy medical knowledge.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in medical billing, with a preference for candidates familiar with digital billing systems.
- Training or familiarity with ICD-A / CPT codes, embracing innovative coding practices.
- Proficiency in modern bookkeeping and accounting terminology, utilizing data-driven approaches.
- Ability to adeptly operate computers and other office machines within a tech-forward environment.
- Responsible and resilient in high-pressure situations, with a focus on breakthrough thinking and adaptability.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
