Pharmacy Technician Supervisor
Location: Missouri City, TX

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of pharmacy technician workflow to optimize performance and service quality.
- Develop, implement, and maintain efficient schedules, ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
- Lead recruitment efforts, interview, and select the best candidates following departmental policies.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities for team members, enhancing their professional growth.
- Conduct data collection and audits to uphold regulatory standards and improve operational efficiency.
- Facilitate and support the implementation of new projects and programs to advance pharmacy services.
- Address training and development needs, ensuring new staff receives comprehensive orientation.
- Investigate and resolve complaints, maintaining high levels of patient and team member satisfaction.
- Collaborate and foster strong relationships with providers, clinical staff, and ancillary departments.
- Participate in strategic decision-making processes for hiring and team development.
- Manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certificate is essential.
- Registered with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
- Proven ability to pass retail pharmacy math tests and maintain certifications.
- Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare experience, with at least seven (7) years as a pharmacy technician.
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in a supervisory role is critical.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional customer service and effective communication skills, both written and oral.
- Proficiency in typing and computer skills.
