IT Application Trainer - Job Overview

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of cutting-edge training programs for end-user systems and software applications.
  • Conduct engaging and dynamic training sessions both onsite and virtually, boosting user motivation and proficiency.
  • Develop forward-thinking learning curriculums aligned with business needs and best practices in process design and solution adoption.
  • Refine training programs to foster growth and development in end-user competencies.
  • Coordinate and conduct targeted training for specific application areas, ensuring comprehensive user proficiency.
  • Facilitate technology competency assessments and scenario-based training exercises.
  • Collaborate with vendor and project leaders to bridge capability gaps for future business strategies.
  • Engage in continuous feedback loops to drive system design and implementation improvements.
  • Promote teamwork and continuous improvement within IT groups both internally and through external engagements.
  • Participate in planning and coordinating new solutions, advocating for cutting-edge innovations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare or IT disciplines, or equivalent experience in healthcare operations or clinical IT roles.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in clinical applications analysis and training for adult learners.
  • Experience with clinical software implementations and training, with a focus on user-centric design.
  • In-depth knowledge of HIPAA regulations and their application in IT training.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and service requests efficiently.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Preferred experience in project management, clinical informatics, and workflow documentation using Microsoft Visio.
  • Experience with hardware management is a plus.
