Physician (Internal Med) - Job Overview

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM)

As a Physician in Adult Medicine at Legacy Community Health, you will pioneer new pathways in healthcare delivery, leveraging cutting-edge technology and agile methodologies to impact lives positively.

  • Evaluate, treat, and manage adult patients with a game-changing approach.
  • Lead the charge in chronic disease screening and acute care management.
  • Supervise and mentor mid-level providers within a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate health status assessments with a forward-focused perspective.
  • Perform physical examinations and comprehensive health history documentation.
  • Consult and collaborate with cutting-edge health professionals.
  • Order diagnostic tests and support innovative specimen collection techniques.
  • Interpret health data using data-driven analysis to craft breakthrough treatment plans.
  • Provide education and guide mid-level providers with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Promote effective working relations within an agile team environment.
  • Commit to safety training and maintain high work standards.
  • Follow advanced safety protocols and participate in environmental audits.
  • Demonstrate expertise in protective barrier equipment to ensure a safe environment.
  • Attend pioneering education programs to stay at the forefront of industry trends.
  • Participate in other assigned duties with an innovative mindset.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Medical Doctor with current licensure ready to lead in the digital transformation of healthcare.
  • Competency in Medicare, Medicaid Programs, and participation in breakthrough insurance models.
  • Ability to meet EPIC proficiency requirements with a tech-savvy approach.
  • Previous community healthcare experience preferred, with a future-focused vision.
  • Demonstrated competency with EHRS and data-driven healthcare solutions.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to foster patient engagement.
  • Ability to multitask, with strong organizational, typing, and computer skills.
  • Securely manage confidential information in a tech-forward manner.
  • Capable of handling decision-making responsibilities in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
