Facilities Technician - Job Overview

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM) | On-Call Rotation

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly and courteous facility service to all employees, providers, vendors, patients, and visitors.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to clinic dress guidelines.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment, adhering to LCH and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and repair building systems, equipment, and components under the direction of the Facilities Manager and/or Facilities Director.
  • Address work requests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring quality workmanship.
  • Be on-call on a rotational basis for afterhours emergencies.
  • Have reliable personal transportation to complete job duties, including driving moving vans and trucks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team's success.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years related experience.
  • Certifications in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical or Building Trades preferred.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and decision-making responsibilities.
  • Frequently required to sit; occasionally required to stand and walk.
  • Frequently required to talk and/or communicate both expressively & receptively.
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasionally required to bend, twist, climb, and reach.
  • Moderate concentration/intensity, which includes prolonged mental effort with limited opportunity for breaks.
  • Normal memory, taking into consideration the amount and type of information.
  • Moderate level of complexity for decision making.
  • Must be able to handle normal levels of intensity.
