Schedule: Monday-Friday (8AM-4PM) | Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

  • Arrange language line interpretation services for non-English speaking patients, ensuring clear and respectful communication.
  • Assist new patients with registration and provide support on appointment days to create a seamless experience.
  • Manage electronic health records (EHR) and continuity of care lists to ensure smooth operations.
  • Coordinate provider schedules to optimize patient access and manage the waitlist for Behavioral Health Services.
  • Process and follow up on internal service orders for psychological testing and Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH).
  • Screen new and existing patients, completing risk assessments when necessary.
  • Obtain vital signs and accurately enter data into the EHR system.
  • Make reminder calls to patients with unconfirmed appointments and handle voicemail messages promptly.
  • Process prior authorizations for psychological testing and medications efficiently.
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry, mail/fax sorting, and general office duties.
  • Assist in triaging behavioral health emergencies and support blood draws, injections, EKGs, and drug screens as needed.
  • Participate in mandatory staff meetings and safety training programs to stay informed and prepared.
  • Maintain a safe and professional work environment, adhering to company standards and safety protocols.
  • Cross-cover remotely and travel to other locations as required to support team operations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BLS (CPR & AED) Certified required.
  • Three to six months of related experience preferred
  • One year certificate from college or technical school preferred
  • Familiarity with BH preferred.
  • Computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good direct and telephone communication skills.
  • Must be able to work in a team setting
  • Leadership ability for program management, growth, and development within the Center and the Community.
  • Communication/interpersonal skills to interact courteously and professionally with associates and customers of various ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to interact effectively with various community agencies and resources.
  • Coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish speaking required.
