Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological and neuropsychological testing for both children and adults (approx. 2:1 ratio).
- Explore therapy opportunities, including Behavioral and CBT approaches.
- Participate in dynamic multidisciplinary team conferences with a fantastic lineup of professionals.
- Seize opportunities for collaboration with our on-site charter school.
- Assess client needs using a variety of tools like interviews and psychometric tests.
- Devise and monitor treatment programs in collaboration with your superstar colleagues.
- Offer therapy and treatment for mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, and more.
- Develop and evaluate service provisions for clients, ensuring top quality care.
- Contribute to the Performance Improvement Program as a key player.
- Maintain your work area and equipment to meet LCHS's stellar standards.
- Use your personal vehicle for travel throughout the local service area when needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- A doctoral degree is required as a psychologist. Psychologists with a Ph.D. or Doctor of Psychology
- Must hold current licensure.
- Must uphold the Code of Ethics of their professional licensing entity.
- Flexible hours available.
- Must complete the minimum hours of continuing education to maintain professional license and maintain good standing with professional licensing board.
- Must demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity to all populations served.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, community and the general public.
- Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions.
- Must pass criminal background check
- Provider shall obtain, maintain and participate in the Medicare and Medicaid Programs, workers’ compensation, other federal and state reimbursement programs, and the payment plan of any commercial insurer, health maintenance organization, preferred provider organization, accountable health plan, and other health benefit program requested by Legacy.
