Bilingual Front Desk Clerk - Job Overview
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM)

Key Responsibilities
- Warmly answer and route incoming calls with professionalism.
- Perform client intake and promptly notify the appropriate staff of arrivals.
- Accurately enter patient information into our databases.
- Assist with volunteer coordination and management, enhancing our community efforts.
- Diligently follow appointment and cash handling procedures.
- Maintain a tidy and welcoming clinic lobby, creating a positive first impression.
- Process lab results as directed by the Practice Manager, ensuring timely communication.
- Actively participate in the Performance Improvement Program, driving quality care.
- Promote effective teamwork and collaboration within the team.
- Apply a team-based approach within a primary care medical home context.
- Attend required safety and annual education programs to stay informed.
- Operate equipment and maintain work areas up to Legacy standards.
- Follow exposure control plans and demonstrate proper body mechanics.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinic operations.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Pleasant, professional, and articulate phone voice.
- Ability to multi-task and handle many incoming calls or patients at once.
- Efficient and accurate data-entry skills.
- Computer literacy and multi-line phone or switchboard experience required.
- Must be able to learn quickly if no experience.
- Basic math, alphabetical or numerical filing knowledge may be required.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
